Which means that I have found yet another game for girls to play to kill time. I had to tell you guys about this game – Satisfashion – because I just know that anybody who loves the part in The Sims where you are doing the hair, makeup and clothing of your Sims character will enjoy this game!

When you play Satisfashion you are put in charge of running a series of fashion shows. For each fashion show in this game for girls you have to dress each of the fashion models in the makeup and hairstyle that fits the theme of that particular fashion show. Once you have done that you move to the dressing room where you have to put together an outfit for each model that also fits the theme. The fashion show themes can be a season which means you would be putting together summer outfits, winter outfits and that sort of thing. The fashion show themes could also have to do with the style of clothing. So, you could be having to put together casual, trendy or dressy outfits.

Once you have your fashion model dressed you send her out on the runway so that you can watch the fashion show that you put together. Now that I think of it, wouldn’t it be great if you could do a fashion show like that when you play The Sims 3? I know I would love it!

I downloaded the free 1 hour trial of Cake Mania 3 and the next thing I knew I was hooked on making cakes! Luckily, for my diet, the cakes I made in this game were virtual but they sure did look good! The game has a pretty common time management game structure where you have to perform a set number of tasks against the clock.

In the case of Cake Mania 3, the task is making and cakes and serving them to the cake shop customers who become increasingly demanding as the game progresses. It really is a lot of fun even if it is a bit of a game for girls!

A gal still needs to game though! So, I have been looking for other games to play in the meantime and this game – Kudos – is actually pretty good.

It isn’t all that much to look at graphically but it actually sucked me in for days. If you are a fan of The Sims you might find this downloadable game fun too. You get to play an hour long demo for free so it has to be worth a shot.

The idea of the Kudos game is that you pick yourself a character – male or female – and then you have to live their lives. Sound familiar? You do get to decide on the looks of your character but they never really move because this is more of a Sims roleplaying game, I guess, but it sure is fun. You get to pick the career for your Kudos character and then you have to decide if you send them to school and what lessons they take and how that will help them up their career ladder. You also have to look after the love life, their physical fitness and grow their friendship circle.

So, if you need something to fill in the void while you wait for The Sims 3 release date then I really recommend going here to download the Kudos trial. It is totally free to play it for an hour and see if you enjoy it as much as I did!
