So many possibilites for Sims 3 houses

I have never really been that good at building houses in The Sims games.  I can do the basics but I never really seem to have the artistic flair that other players of The Sims have when building Sims houses. Even though I haven’t been great at building houses for The Sims, I still really enjoy playing in the Sims houses that other people build.

I must say, however, that the more that I see the possibilities for building houses in The Sims 3 the more I want to see if I can finally find the Sims architect within. If nothing else I can’t wait to see what other players of The Sims 3 come up with when they are set free to build Sims 3 houses.

When I saw this collection of The Sims 3 houses I thought I would share them. I believe that all of these Sims 3 houses were designed by the same person – possibly at one of The Sims 3 creator camps. If one Sims 3 player cam come up with such diverse designs imagine what we will get when there is a world full of Sims 3 players out there. I just hope that the Sims 3 exchange will be more available to those of us that play The Sims 3 from around the world. I have felt a bit excluded from that side of thing with The Sims 2 because of how they made it more difficult from non North Americans to interact on the main Sims site.

I like this Sims 3 mansion because of how different it looks from any Sims house I have seen.   In particular, I like the use of balconies and pillars on each story of the Sims 3 house.

What caught my eye about this house from The Sims 3 is the modern look of all the glass work. It looks as much like an art museum as a Sims 3 home.  I can just imagine my family of yuppie Sims 3 characters moving into this house.

By contrast, this wooden house from The Sims 3 is the type of Sims 3 house that I can picture one of my nature loving Sims families moving into.  I can just see them sitting on the porch fishing for those large bass to fill the fridge.  I don’t think I would mind living in a house like this in real life either.
